The Urban Waterside group of companies is a privately owned property development and project management concern. The company was formed in 1981 and its name originates from its role as principle developers for the first phase of Manchester Docks. 

This development was one of the largest regeneration projects in its day and became known as Salford Quays. 

The company continues to pursue major town centre regeneration projects and works closely with a range of public and private sector partners to develop sustainable development in office, industrial, retail and residential projects.
